We’re so excited this collective craft show is officially happening, and that you want to join us :)
We have to sound somewhat official for this section, so please bear with us:
Payment of $50CAD is due by midnight, September 18th. Should you decide to not participate, you can drop us a line, or simply not remit payment. Your spot will be offered to another vendor, no hard feelings :)
Please do not make your payment unless you agree to the following vendor agreement. Remittance of payment is your acknowledgment of the following:
The Assembly Show is happening rain or shine. Once payment has been made, the table fee is non-refundable.
Table Set-Up: Doors open to vendors at 9:00am. Tables must be set up completely, with items on display, by 9:45am. Doors open to shoppers at 10:00am sharp. Do not be setting up after 9:45am, except for the replenishing of stock throughout the day. Tables must not be taken down prior to 4:15, and we must be out of the building by 5:00pm. Each vendor who requires 1-60 minutes past 5:00pm to take down their display will need to pay the Art Gallery directly $75 before they leave the premises. Please consider these time restraints when configuring your table display.
Display: Vendor must supply their own table cloth or covering (any colour) to fit a 72" x 30" x 30” table. Both of the sides and the front are to be completely covered from table top to floor. As some tables will be partially visible from behind, we ask that all under-table storage be tidy and organized. If you require display room outside of this table sized foot-print, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll figure out if it’s feasible. A chair will be provided. If you need an additional chair for a person assisting you, again, drop us a line so we can let the Gallery know ahead of time.
No food treats or samples on tables.
Height and display restrictions: There is to be no shelving which will significantly obstruct the displays of the tables neighbouring yours. Aside from that, feel free to bring a banner stand or rack, as long as the height does not exceed 8 feet.
Product: Do not bring anything outside of a style or category that you did not disclose on your application. For example, if you make pillows or scarves, do not show up with jewellery if you made no mention of jewellery when you applied. We do this to ensure a wide variety, no duplication, and fair competition for all. Items you or your immediate family member(s) did not make by hand, design, or alter significantly by hand are not allowed and we reserve the right to take them down for the duration of the show. Mass produced items are not to be sold.
Foot Traffic and promotion: As a collective, and as a non-profit, our advertising budget is small. We'll be heavily promoting (but not annoyingly so!) via social media and word of mouth, and would greatly appreciate our vendors doing so as well- it benefits us all in the long run! However, there are no brownie points being tallied :) If you feel like doing balls-out promotion, that's awesome. If you just feel like inviting some of your contacts to "like" our page, or "attend" our Facebook event (we'll have it posted by September 19th), that's awesome too :) The site you put as your primary site will be linked to from our "Who's Who" page. If information changes, just drop us a line.
Logistics: An email will follow with unloading and loading logistics at least 10 days before the show, and a private facebook vendor group will be created after September 19th when our lineup is all set :)
If you have any questions, no matter how little you think they might be, please ask before remitting payment!
Cheers, and thank you for being part of this show with us, we're honoured :) Julie, Suzanne, and Melanie.
*Payment can be made via paypal, at the link below, or via EMT to Suzanne's email: email@example.com
